Model Colors is now on the Mac

The whole app — your stash, shopping list, color lists, mixes and model projects — now runs as a Mac app alongside iPhone and iPad, with real Mac windows, menus and toolbars.

Now in 13 languages

The app, its help and the privacy policy are translated into Swedish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Japanese, Ukrainian, Czech and Korean. Dates follow your region, and you can switch the app's language from Settings.

Faster

Searching and filtering the color database is far quicker and no longer stalls scrolling, color comparisons are faster, and model photos load from a new local cache.

A fresh look

• Model cards show the cover photo, scale and a color coded build state
• The model info screen now leads with the cover photo, name, brand and scale
• Reworked brands, color lists and attribute views
• A more compact search panel
• Alternate app icons to pick from

Also new

• Give a color mix a preview color, so you can see roughly what it mixes to
• Copy a color's RGB value with one tap
• Jump straight from a color to its brand or color type
• Searchable brand and scale pickers when adding a model
• If the app can't start, it now says why and offers to try again

And a long list of fixes for crashes, layout glitches and sync problems.
